    <title>Requirements Engineering Certification (a.k.a. Business Analysis)</title>
    <link>https://www.modernanalyst.com/Resources/News/tabid/177/ID/2056/Requirements-Engineering-Certification-aka-Business-Analysis.aspx</link>
    <description>The International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB), established in Germany, has developed the “Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE)”. More than 6,000 practitioners worldwide have received the Foundation level certification. Process-Fusion, an IREB recognized training provider, will present a webinar on November 8th to describe this certification and compare it to the IIBA certifications. To register, click here.
&amp;#160;This certification is based on the requirements engineering chapter of the IEEE Soft&#173;ware Engineering Body of Knowledge The CPRE, unlike many other certifications, is open to a very wide audience because there are no pre-requisites for taking the certi&#173;fication exam. The CPRE body of knowledge (“Syllabus”) includes nine sections:&amp;#160;
1.&amp;#160;Introduction and Foundations
2.&amp;#160;System and Context Boundaries
3.&amp;#160;Requirements Elicitation
4.&amp;#160;Requirements Documentation
5.&amp;#160;Documentation Using Natural Language
6.&amp;#160;Model-based Documentation of Requirements
7.&amp;#160;Requirements Validation and Negotiation
8.&amp;#160;Requirements Management
